Attorneys for some of the proposed dispensaries in Arizona have now filed a lawsuit to try and force the agency that regulates the state’s medical marijuana program to begin to accept applications, as required by law. The Arizona Department of Health Services was appointed to oversee the program, but on advice of the Governor’s office has so far refused to accept any applications until the state law suit has handed down a ruling, a process that could take months or even years.
